When we pull the weeds, this is what you will see in the backyard. I love bunnies, and ladybugs too. Together, it's just perfect! One of my favorite finds at a garage sale last year. Says "Bunny Crossing".
Our life with 4 Reno rabbits adopted from Best Friends Animal Society in 2006, and many adopted and foster buns from the Humane Society. This blog is dedicated to our beloved Jasper, Raisin and foster, Buddy, who left this earth too soon.

Cinnamon is looking good
I just noticed last week that Cinnamon has put some weight on. Finally. He lost weight when he was sick and on medication (for almost a year). But he looks so good now; I'm so happy. He looks like he did when we first got him.
Clint lounging, I rarely catch him doing that!
This is some of the grossness I find while cleaning the rabbitat. You can't tell from the picture, but that thing is bigger than a quarter! NASTY!

So close to escape.
Well they really did it this time. The hole was 10 inches down and 3 feet across. If they had gone down a few more inches they would have cleared the hardware cloth that is buried, then a few more inches over and back up they would have been escapees.
Seems Gerald did most of the work this time. But I know they work together.
Of course they don't help me fill it back up. Took me about 20 minutes. I have to make sure it all gets packed in nice and tight since they were under one of the support posts. Clothes ended up in the hamper and I'm pooped out.
Got enough dirt up your nose Gerald?
So you see that sunkin part of the dirt, in the middle? That is where they went down, then to the right under the cement post.

Again and still....
digging. Clint was busy last night. He was still going at it when I went out to feed them this morning. Funny, he didn't have much of an appetite (he ate a few pellets and that was it). Maybe because he was covered in dirt. He had a pretty good hole dug too. I was able to get the small rake in it. Bambi is also digging daily, on the other side, but she is not getting too far, I keep adding rocks from the garden. Check out the dirt on Clint's nose....

Chew toy.
Cinnamon is a really good bun (compared to the others). He is not a chewer, or digger. Except when he is in the house, he loves the buttons off the remote. Which mostly belongs to my husband. So I tell Cinnamon what a good boy he is and next time be sure to eat the power button.
So far he ate a few buttons off the very top, page up, down, #3, #9 and a few off the bottom. Most buttons we don't use anyway, so we don't miss them.

Great weather.
The weather has been great bun weather the last few weeks. Not too hot, not too cold, just a bit of rain. Most days we haven't had to turn the fans on. Today I did though. Bambi and Cinnamon seemed to be enjoying the lazy day....
I had to bribe Gerald with a few Cheerios to come out and pose for me. I think it's just crazy how you can look straight at him and not see his eyes.
*BREAKING NEWS: CLINT JUST ATE AN ALFALFA COOKIE!!!!
I always give the buns a cookie after their dinner, Clint has turned his nose to these before so I don't bother offering them to him anymore. Tonight he seemed interested, so I gave him one, and he ate it. Crazy bun, why now? No one will ever know.
