Today was the 3rd hot day in a row. It was 80 in the rabbitat this morning when I went out to clean it (great way to spend an hour, sweating). Cinnamon and Bambi seemed awfully uncomfortable, so we decided to bring them into the house for the afternoon. (After my dad just asked if I brought them in the house and I said "no, only when they are sick"!) But they were really uncomfortable; Bambi was breathing hard and Cinnamon was in the dirt, on his side almost on his back (missed that great photo op)! So we brought them in and cooled them off. I put out a small wet towel, I think it helped cool them off.

Have you tried the frozen water bottle bit? When it gets toasty here, I do have air conditioning but you never know when the power will go out, I let the buns hang out in the bathroom with the tile floors and some frozen water bottles.

I do the frozen bottle thing when they are outside. I just figured after 2 days they had enough, so I brought them in.
I'm assuming Gerald and Clint made it to Beijing so they were chillaxin' with Michael Phelps in the pool(Bobbing bunnies. Squeee!).

We made it too .. the cool and rain feels good. Lucky just sat out in it for quite awhile, the other guys ducked under cover!
you're such a good bun caretaker! it gets awful hot for the poor buns.
