I was completely prepared for overheated bunnies today. Hubby checked on them at lunch time. Brought them fresh, cold water and turned the fans up.
This morning I put up more shade cloth and put out the frozen water bottles.
Each side (or rabbit pair) gets 2 bottles. I cover them with a thin baby blanket so the buns don't get all wet from sweaty bottles.
When I went out to the rabbitat Clint had both ears down, when I brought the bottles in only one ear (his good one) stood up. Silly rabbit....

zinger has it the best around here - my cooler is in the bedroom so where he lives is the coolest spot in the house!

We bet those bottles feel mighty good in the heat! (It was 102 degrees here yesterday -- today's supposed to be about that again. We're staying inside with the air conditioning.)
Oh hang on Clint and all. I see we go down in the 70's for Sunday and then whamo .. cool and rain on Monday!!!
