Well they really did it this time. The hole was 10 inches down and 3 feet across. If they had gone down a few more inches they would have cleared the hardware cloth that is buried, then a few more inches over and back up they would have been escapees.
Seems Gerald did most of the work this time. But I know they work together.
Of course they don't help me fill it back up. Took me about 20 minutes. I have to make sure it all gets packed in nice and tight since they were under one of the support posts. Clothes ended up in the hamper and I'm pooped out.
Got enough dirt up your nose Gerald?
So you see that sunkin part of the dirt, in the middle? That is where they went down, then to the right under the cement post.

You've got really creative buns there! This sounds like one of those World War II escape movies! Maybe you could give the buns little soldier hats and film the escavation!
I dun tol ya and dun tol ya ... a wood or cement floor all through that place ... I know, I know, you want grass but ....
Hey Guys ... psssttt
When you get out, we are about 2 miles North and 2 miles West ...
There are so many of us that RG and BL won't even notice you until it's too late.
sigh... i know how you feel... keeping the little buggers in is a pain
Wow, your rabbits are really industrious.
I guess a rabbit's gotta do what a rabbit's gotta do and mum's gotta do what a mum's gotta do. I know that doesn't make you feel any better. But they do look kinda cute all dirtied up like naughty children. =:}
