Bad bunnies!

"Who? Us? Naw, we have just been sittin' here, mindin' our own business....."

Sorry boys, I got the evidence...

Need, more, bricks.

I open the drapes this morning and see Gerald, digging. I yell out the window: "GERALD, NO!" He perks his head up for a second, then continues. "GERALD!!". I fill the holes up, and he is right back at it this afternoon so I can fill the holes again after work.

So how long did that sod last??????????..........

Everyone likes to do a little remodeling to their space now and then -- maybe they want a basement!

I'm not able to have a bun at this time so I torture myself by visiting bunny blogs and yours cracks me up every time. I was very lucky today because I was able to pet some McBunsters at a friend's house (one of them had a very lovely dewlap which was quite yummy) and now, I'm so happy. It almost makes up for the $200.00+ vet bill from this morning for geriatric kitty and funky dog.

Digging is FUN!

i lined my outdoor enclosure about 8-12 inches down with chicken wire so they can't dig out. they are crafty though and find other ways... Riena then started CLIMBING the fencing and getting out that way.

Mum of critters:
The shelter I got them from suggested that too. I'm afraid they will start digging and tear a nail off or something.

I still may do it.....I'm always at the vet anyway. They know me as "The Other Rabbit Lady" and "queasy". (The original/first "Rabbit Lady" is Rabbits Guy's better half. Dang, I mean OTHER half! HA.)

PJ, if you lived in the area I would recruit you as my bun volunteer.

Take care of geriatric kitty. I have 2 senior cats. They are the loves of my life.

All of my animals are so very spoiled and cared for. I would like to have a farm and lots of acreage to rescue more.

You had me at recruit. I actually have two geriatric kitties and one funky dog and I'm thinking of starting their own blog. They have a lot they want to say.

You know i hadn't thought of that concern tearing a nail on the metal - that's scary. The other handy thing is that the gophers don't come up from underneath and steal the plants I put in for them (mint, basil, cilantro etc...) The gophers will dig under the plant and pull it into the ground from underneath, the little poopyheads. But with the chicken wire they haven't (yet!)

PJ, I would love to hear what they have to say.

If you have time, do it.
